Race Preview: 2018 Battle for the Bridge (West Linn)

The 3rd annual Battle for the Bridge Half, 10K, and 5K events will be held on Saturday, June 23rd. These are non-profit races to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This fundraising event is held at the Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, which offers scenic views of the Willamette River. All events will be chip timed by Uberthons.

The Battle for the Bridge began as a football game between alumni of West Linn High School and Oregon City High School, a game held annually every year since 1921. They are now coming together to raise awareness and money to find and fund a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Started by two West Linn High School alumni, one of whom is the father of a CF patient, it has since grown to include various events and parties and has raised over $120,000 to date.

This event is proudly supported by Ancestry Brewing and TZ Medical.
