Small Race Preview: 2018 Sandy Nature Trails Run

The Second Annual Sandy Nature Trails Run is being held on Saturday March 31st, 2018. This is a beautiful, flat, easy, trail running and walking event for everyone. For those not accustomed to trail running, it is a great introduction with many beautiful, single track, trails through the forest. The course takes runners by natural water areas and ponds, through beautiful forested trails, and a very pretty covered bridge.

The Sandy Nature Trails Run is 100% local. Proceeds support the local community and local business. The race is 100% green, no cups, no mess, participants leave nothing but their footprints. This race is a great way to experience a fun 5k while introducing yourself to new trails, new locations, and new friends. This year hosts new 10k, one hour & two hour trail runs.

Time: Race begins at 9:00 A.M. Check in is 8:00 – 8:50 a.m.

5k – $25 – until March 1st
$30 – until March 30th
$35 – on race day

10k – $35 until March 1st
$40 until March 30th
$45 on race day

1 hour – $35 until March 1st
$40 until March 30th
$45 on race day

2 hour – $40 until March 1st
$45 until March 30th
$50 on race day
