Race Preview: 2017 Freeze Your Gizzard Blizzard 5K (The Dalles)

Get ready to wrap up 2017 with a chilly fun run in The Dalles. Freeze Your Gizzard Blizzard is sponsored by NWC Parks & Recreation District and the Colonel Wright Athletic Department. This annual fun run includes a 10K, 5K, and 3K. Starting at the Lewis and Clark Festival Park, all courses are on the paved Riverfront Trail which runs alongside the Columbia River.

Since this event is put on in part by a local elementary school’s athletic department, registration is free for all K-5 students of District 21. Register for this chilly event before December 4th to guarantee a shirt in your size. Make it a memorable end to 2017 with a scenic winter run along the Columbia River.
