Small Race Preview: 2017 Beat Beethoven’s 5k Run/Walk

Here’s a race with a fun premise for you.. The goal of the 3rd Annual Beat Beethoven’s 5th 5k Fun Run/Walk on August 26th is to complete the race before Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony finishes. This gives you approximately 33 minutes from the start to the finish line.

Come to the COCC campus track in Bend OR for the 5k starting at 9:00AM, or for the 1 Miler which follows shortly after. You can run or walk and there is also a kid’s race (intended for kids 12 and under) which is free. All ages, speeds, shapes, and sizes are welcome to this event, and proceeds will help support the Central Oregon Symphony.

This will be a timed race courtesy of Time2Race and the 5k begins and ends at the COCC campus. The 1 miler as well as the Kids Race will be on the track and both races are mostly flat and paved.

If you register before August 1st, you’ll get a t-shirt in your race packet. A very limited supply of shirts and sizes will be available for anyone that registers later than this, so sign up now to guarantee yours.
