If there are two things that can pull me out of a rut, those would be coffee and running. Combining the endorphins of a runner’s high and the caffeine from a warm (or iced) coffee is always a great partnership in my book. The 2017 Run The Dutch is a 5K fun run that combines these two essentials!

The race has grown steadily over the years and 2017 is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The race course isn’t identified, but for anyone who has run a race at Heiser Farms know that it’s rural, beautiful, and is usually mostly ran on dirt and trails around the property. There is also a promise of caffeine stops along the way (yes please).

Afterwards there will be food, local beer and Dutch Bros coffee, and music. From culling through their Facebook page, it seems like everyone has really good things to say about previous years. The first 200 registrants will receive a free logo trucker hat in addition to the race shirt that comes free with each entry. A 5k, shirt, hat (potentially), and a swag bag – all for $25?! Awesome.

Like and follow their Facebook page for details.
