Race Preview: 2017 Easter Egg Stash Dash (Eugene)

Easter eggs, bunnies and trails – oh my! The Easter Egg Stash Dash is a fun, family-oriented event held in Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Oregon. Kids up to 10 are welcome to partake in a 1K Easter egg hunt, and for everyone else there’s a choice of a 5K or a half marathon on Pre’s trail.  The courses are looped and flat – you can feel the history of Tracktown beneath your feet while you run. After the event, there will be post-race food for everyone, as well as and lots of fun vendors.

Date: Saturday, April 15, 2017

Time: 8:45am – Kids 3 and under 1K egg hunt

9:00am – Kids ages 4-5 1K egg hunt

9:15 – Kids ages 6-10 1K egg hunt

9:30am – Half marathon and 5K

Location: Pre’s trail – Alton Baker Park (100 Day Island Rd. Eugene, OR 97401)

Cost: Half marathon – $49.00 (includes shirt before 3/31/17), 5K – $20.00 (shirt not included), $10.00 – Kids 1K egg hunt.  Add $5.00 to all fees on race day.
