Attention Central Oregon runners, and those who want to get away one last time before December and the holidays really hit, the 2016 Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis 5K is this Saturday, December 3rd. This race has now hit 25 years and is one of the biggest holiday races in the area and state!
The race is more “fundraiser” than full-on race, as the event is put on by the Arthritis Foundation and there are options for fundraising and donations on the race website. The event encourages holiday themed costumes, sweaters, lights, as well as having a good time! But that doesn’t mean that the racing part is left out, as runners will receive a finisher’s medal.
