Sean’s Run for ARROAutism begins at 8am on Saturday, August 20th at Concordia University. It offers a 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk to support the Autism Research and Resources of Oregon. Register online or get there early and register race morning. The 5K and 10K cost $19 and additional adults can join in for $15. Kids ages 7-17 can accompany an adult for $3.00 and kids under 7 are free. All full price adult entries include a t-shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased for $20.
Proceeds will help families in Oregon locate resources and programs for kids with Autism and their loved ones. “The main project of ARROAutism will be the development of the Oregon Autism Center where we will bring together a wide variety of organizations, agencies, professionals and project to provide the families and individuals with Autism in Oregon access to resources that encourage and promote their integration in their community and improve their quality of life.’
In its 10th year, Sean Run for ARROAutsim will take place at the Concordia University Throw Center (9376 NE Sunderland Ave, Portland). Located a short distance from the Concordia campus, the Throw Center is designed and intended for collegiate athletes and Olympic hopefuls and will offer the perfect venue for this worthy event.
