Race Preview: 7th Annual Cheadle Lake 5k/10k Fun Run/Walk & Kids Obstacle Dash (5/7/2016)

Don your running clothes for the Cheadle Lake 5k/10k Fun Run/Walk & Kids Obstacle Dash on Saturday, May 7th, 2016. OK, this 7th annual event actually has nothing to do with the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor, but it is a fundraiser for Build Lebanon Trails, an organization dedicated to “planning, promoting, maintaining and developing over 50 miles of fully accessible multi-use, hiking, walking, and bicycling trails” in Lebanon, OR.

The 5k and 10k courses are mostly flat and follow a loop beside Cheadle Lake and through Cheadle Lake Park on a paved, gravel, and dirt trail. The Kids Obstacle Dash is an untimed half-mile obstacle course. Adults are welcome to accompany their kids along the course.

Stick around after the races for the awards ceremony and a chance to win raffle prizes (for those who pre-register).

T-shirts are available for $15 if ordered before April 30th.
