Small Race Preview: 2016 Angela Coe Rainy Day Run/Walk (Cascade Locks)

The 5th annual Angela Coe Rainy Day Run/Walk 5k/10k takes place in Cascade Locks on Saturday, May 7th at 10am. This family and stroller friendly event remembers a wonderful woman and raises funds for Children’s Cancer Association.

The run starts and ends at Cascade Locks City Hall 140 NW Wanapa St. Heading west, participants run past the Bridge of the Gods and onto the Historic Columbia Gorge Highway Trail. 10k participants follow the trail all the way to the turnaround point at Eagle Creek fish hatchery, while 5k runners will find their turnaround at an earlier point along the trail.

After the race, stick around for refreshments and prizes from local businesses.

Registration is available on EventBrite, and is just $25 for adults, $15 for youth ages 13-16. Family registration is discounted to $45, and children 12 and under run for free.
