Small Race Preview: The Times Trail Trekker 5k

The Times Trail Trekker 5k is a new event in Tualatin, put on by Fit City Tualatin and the City of Tualatin Parks Department. This is a first year run and walk on a new trail which will connect both sides of Tualatin without having to go over the crazy-busy I5 overpass. As a result, this 5k will be family and pet friendly, and though it is sure to be low-key, it will be timed. Free parking will be available at the Tualatin Library or in front of Michael’s Craft Store.

The course will be an out-and-back and follow alongside the new trail on the Tualatin River before heading south through the mall parking area. There will be a short little section on Nyberg Road before turning around at Brown’s Ferry Park. A portion of proceeds will be donated back to the Tualatin Parks Department.
