The Linkville Lopers running club is the host for the Winter Wings Run in Klamath Falls on Sunday, February 14th. Part of the Winter Wings Festival, a four-day celebration of ornithology and photography, the run features a 5k.
Formerly known as the Bald Eagle Run, the race began in 1987. It’s a family-friendly event, and dogs are welcome to accompany their two-legged companions. In low-key tradition, there is no pre-registration; just sign up at the race for the extremely affordable price of $7.00 (or $20 for families). T-shirts will be available for the “early birds”.
The race takes place on the final day of the Winter Wings Festival, so consider making a full weekend of it.
