The 9th annual MLK Stride Toward Freedom 5K run and 1 mile run/walk will be held on January 23rd. This event celebrates the memory of Martin Luther King and benefits the Salem Multicultural Institute. The Salem Multicultural Institute’s mission is to promote an appreciation and understanding of the cultural diversity in the community.
The race will start at Willamette University’s Brown Field. The affordable entry fee includes a t-shirt if registered by January 20th and includes light post-race snacks.
