What’s better than eating pie? And running? Together? Running and eating for a great cause during a time of thanksgiving. FootZone Bend‘s I Like Pie fun run/walk is now in its 10th year and while the run is not a timed event, the turnout is always amazing.
For only $5 and a 5lb bag of food for a donation to Neighbor Impact, you’re in. Last year, FootZone managed to collect 6,000 pounds of food, which all went to Neighbor Impact, and the goal is top that!
This is definitely a family oriented event, where everyone is encouraged to come out and join in and, you guessed it, eat some pie. Everyone is encouraged to bring a pie, to help feed the masses. There is also a pie contest with prizes. The goal, as always, it to get out there and get some exercise right before strapping the feedbag on.
When: Thursday, November 26th (Thanksgiving Day) starting at 9am. All distances are out and back, starting at Riverfront Plaza in front of Crows Feet Commons.
