Race Preview: 2015 Sunriver Mudslinger
Grab the whole family and head to Sunriver for this Spring Break Mud Run. The
This afternoon event will be a hit with all ages. Costumes are encouraged and teams/families can participate together. With plenty of mud to keep the kids happy, and a variety of obstacles to add some additional challenge, no one will be bored. Obstacles will include walls of varying heights, tires to step through, a spider web weave, sloth crossing, mud crawl and over/under obstacles. However, the main obstacles will be the mud pits and formed dirt berms. Participants are encouraged to try all of the obstacles, but are not required to complete them if not comfortable doing so.

March weather in Sunriver is unpredictable, so you could be participating in sunshine, rain, or even snow! Be sure to dress for the weather (and the mud) and prepare to have a whole lot of fun. Finishers will receive a 2015 Mudslinger Dog Tag and those over 21 will also receive a free drink voucher. Afterwards you can clean off in the Sunriver Fire Department’s fire hose waterfall and change to dry, clean clothes in the available changing tents. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, along with a beer garden (for the 21 and over crowd.) DJ entertainment will also be provided in the finish area.
Proceeds from the 2015 Mudslinger will go to Relay for Life of La Pine/Sunriver, the Sunriver Police Department Shop With a Cop program, and the Sunriver Fire Department Stair Climb Fund.
