Race preview: 2015 Tillamook Splash and Dash Runs on St. Patrick’s Day

If you’re going to be at the Oregon Coast on Saturday, March 14th, check out the Tillamook Splash and Dash. You won’t have the crowds with this St. Patrick’s Day run and kids are encouraged to participate.   A 10k, 5k and Quarter Mile Kids Run are offered. The 10k will begin at 10AM, followed by the 5k at 10:30AM and the Kids Run will take off at 11AM. The 10k and 5k cost $30 for adults and $20 for kids 17 and under (plus a nominal service charge). There is also a family discount, for families registering multiple runners. Families registering three or more participants can deduct $2.50 from each registration. The Kids Run is $10 and also offers a family discount.

The run will start near the Port of Tillamook Bay, at Warehouse Fitness (6002 Blimp Boulevard, Suite A). The course includes sections of trails and roads and will take place rain or shine, puddles and all.  This event supports Bud’s Community Fitness Trail, found at the Tillamook Junior High School.  Registration is only available online and day-of-registration will not be available. All participants will receive a technical shirt if registered by March 1st .  A perfect alternative to crowded St. Patrick’s Day runs, you won’t get lost in the crowd at the Tillamook Splash and Dash.
