Small Race Preview: 2015 St. Patty’s Day River Trail Run/Walk 3k, 5k, 10k

The family friendly St. Patty’s Day River Trail Run/Walk is coming back to The Dalles this year and bringing lots of opportunities for the whole gang to get out and race with its 3 distance choices – 3, 5, or 10ks. Put on by the Jumpstart Winter 3 Race Series, the flat, fast course will run mostly along the river with great views of the Columbia and The Dalles waterfront.  Naturally, bagpipers will be on hand to provide course and post race entertainment in the spirit of the day.

A community oriented event, proceeds from the race will go toward helping out the Jumpstart basketball camp and Colonel Wright elementary PE program. School district #21 and St. Mary’s K-5 elementary students are also invited to race for free.
