From the fine folks who bring you Ole’s Assault and Havoc @ the Hideout, you can be sure that X-Dog Events’ Ride-Row-Run in Maupin, OR will follow in similarly fun, adventurous fashion.
The event starts and finishes at the riverside Imperial Hotel in Maupin, where participants will run one mile to their bikes and ride the 26 mile bike course where they’ll dismount back at the river and begin the paddle portion of the event. The paddle contains mostly mild waters with only one portion of class 1-2 rapids. After paddling 3 miles downstream on the Deschutes, racers will finish the event with a 4 mile run back to the hotel.
This event is set up as a relay, so you have the option to choose between two to four people to participate with you. Post race events include food and beverage back at the hotel, along with prize drawings and awards by age group for participants.
