To finish up our day of posts dedicated to youth running, I wanted to invite you all to bring your 8 and under kiddos to the FREE future cross country runners 0.14 mile run at the Viking Vengeance run.
When: Thursday, July 31, 2014
What time: 6:15p (before the adult 10k and 5k at 6:30p and 6:45p respectively)
Where: The corner of 18th and Main in Forest Grove
Register: The kids race is free, but you can sign up for the 10k or 5k online here for $25 or DOR for $30
Run Oregon believes that the more you can expose your kids to running, the more likely they are to see it as a possible lifelong fitness option for them. (After the phase where all they have to say about your running is “you’re weird,” that is.)
