ORRC 4th of July race changed to 5k for 2014

Due to some challenges with the usual course, the ORRC 4th of July race – usually a 4-miler – has been changed to a 5k for this year.

The race is still FREE for ORRC members and only $5 for non-members that pre-register by June 27th. Day of race it is $10 for everyone. There is also a kids race, free no matter when you sign up. Best of all, every participant in the 5k gets a fruit pie. Doesn’t that sound like a good reason to sign up for a race? Here’s you … “A BBQ at your place? Sure, I can bring dessert!”

Here are the vitals:

When: Friday, July 4, 2014

What time: The kids race starts at 8:45a and the 5k at 9a

Where: Mentor Graphics at 8005 SW Boeckman Road in Wilsonville

Register: Online here for FREE if you’re an ORRC member and only $5 if you’re not.

Sign up for ORRC: Online with the race registration (linked above) or online here. Individual memberships are $30 and family memberships are $40. Membership saves you $5 on every ORRC event (as long as you sign up by the early registration deadlines)
