On to the race information. The races will be a great combination of country and city running, but will stay on hard asphalt and packed gravel the entire time. The race courses look simple, but will definitely present a challenge. The half will feature almost 2,200 feet of total elevation gain. But with major climbs come major views, and some great ones are expected here.
I could spend all day outlining the specifics of this race, but they have provided an outstanding press release which gives fantasic details, from parking directions to course and elevation maps and everything in between. Check it out!
