FootZone Bend Runs
fun run on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Not only is it unique because it is not occurring on the traditional Saturday or Sunday ‘race’ days, but it is one-of-kind because Whiskey is involved at the finish line! Treat!
Here is the low-down: FootZone is requesting everyone that is interested in participating to RSVP, as they are still working out all the finite details to make this an ultra-awesome experience for us. Right now, plug into your calendar to meet at the FootZone in Bend on Wall Street at just before 6 p.m. At 6 p.m., everyone gathered will go out for a 4-5 mile run together. Upon returning to FootZone, the whiskey tasting will commence. Whiskey is being supplied by Oregon Spirit Distillers. Since whiskey is involved, please note this race is for runners 21 and older only – and make sure to bring your ID with you.
Be sure to RSVP before hand, and get ready to enjoy some miles, chit-chat, running, and whiskey with your fellow running friends.
