The main event includes a 5K and 10K run/walk, perfect for all ages, families, and even your pups! The course follows the Historic Columbia River Highway Trail, offering breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge. I’m sure most people know this, but it’s a paved, ADA-accessible trail, so wheelchairs, strollers, and little legs alike can enjoy the scenic route.

The out-and-back format is mostly flat with a gentle incline totaling 115–200 feet of ascent, making it beginner-friendly while still satisfying for more seasoned runners.

The Fun

This isn’t just a run—it’s a full community event! Alongside the race, enjoy:

  • Dozens of local vendors
  • Event drawing, silent auction, and live auction featuring PNW prizes
  • Family-friendly activities like kid’s bib decorating, lawn games, and photo ops with Smokey Bear
  • Meet local wildland firefighters and check out the fire engine display

Whether you’re racing, walking, or enjoying the activities with family, the Run With the Wild promises a memorable day in one of Oregon’s most scenic locations.
