Resolve to Run at the Why Racing Resolution Run

Looking to kick off 2026 with a running-related resolution? The 2026 Resolution Run 10k & 5K on January 3rd might be just what you need! Though this is the 4th annual event, it’s been a staple in north Clark County for more than 13 years.

It was originally launched by Get Bold Events, later hosted by Whisper Running, and has bene a part of Why Racing Events for a few years now—all while supporting a great cause: fundraising for the La Center High School Volleyball team.

The course has everything you need to start your year strong. Beginning and ending in the heart of La Center, it offers a scenic—but challenging—route through Holley Park, including some trail stretches to mix up the terrain. Runners will be on track, path, pavement and hard packed dirt trail for this course. There will be some rolling hills, but all should be very run and walkable.

At the finish, participants are treated to a community pancake breakfast, plus an awards ceremony honoring top finishers and age-group winners. It’s a perfect way to combine fitness, fun, and community in your first week of 2026.

Resolution Run (La Center) $61-$78
