Sapafied: The Rossignol Sapa Collection Elevates Mountain Miles

Rossignol has long been a name synonymous with quality in the world of outdoor sports—almost 120 years of pushing the limits. This past year, the brand took a big step into trail running with its first dedicated collection: the Sapa Collection. Check it out here. At the center of the line are the Vezor Trail Shoes, but the apparel is just as thoughtfully designed.

The Sapa Trail Running Tee and Sapa Shorts make for solid trail companions, built for the kind of long days where comfort and durability really matter.

The shirt is crafted from an ultra-light thermoregulating fabric with HeiQ Smart Temp, featuring mesh back panels for airflow and flatlock seams with raglan sleeves.

These aren’t just aesthetic choices—they’re designed to reduce chafing, especially when running with a hydration pack. The fit runs a bit slim, so sizing up might be worth considering depending on your preference.

As far as looks go, while the front maintains a clean and simple appearance, I found it cool that each of the three color options feature a pop of color on the back, adding a subtle but playful twist.

The shorts offer a slightly longer cut— a 7″ inseam for men and 5″ for women—paired with a stretch liner for mobility.

They remain unrestrictive, and thoughtful storage options like a zippered back pocket and a waistband stash make carrying fuel, keys, or cash simple. These pieces hit a nice balance of technical performance and everyday usability on the trail.
