Tracksmith has a knack for blending that crisp New England grit with performance gear that fits right in here in the Pacific Northwest.
Their latest drop – the Overland Collection – feels tailor-made for our own mix of mist, mud, and mountain miles.

This isn’t just “trail gear” in name only. Overland was born from long hours navigating the unpredictable conditions of New England’s backroads and forest paths. It’s performance apparel built to roll with the punches: weather-repellent fabrics to keep you dry, durable hardware that can handle a few seasons’ worth of abuse, and plenty of secure storage for whatever essentials you need on the move. Sound familiar?

Eliot Range
It’s no secret that the Eliot Runner is one of my all-time favorite running/lifestyle shoes. The tech is solid, the comfort is top-notch, and they look so good that they’ve become my go-to travel running shoes. They’re the rare pair that works just as well on a morning run as they do walking through the airport or grabbing coffee afterward.
Now, Tracksmith has taken the Eliot name off-road with their first trail shoe: the Eliot Range. While it doesn’t have quite the same classic aesthetic as the road version, it’s got a fun, almost unexpected style for Tracksmith—and I kind of love it. The Clay/Silver Gray/Faded Myrtle colorway might not win everyone over at first glance, but it’s definitely grown on me.
Of course, Tracksmith didn’t forget the performance side. The Eliot Range features a supercritical foam midsole paired with an injected nylon plate for a mix of protection and propulsion.
Being a New England company, Tracksmith knows trails can swing from frigid in the winter to humid and warm in the summer, so they added a built-in Merino wool bootie for temperature regulation. Add in a Vibram outsole, and you’ve got a shoe that’s ready for just about anything the trail throws at you.
