Gorgeous Views Await at the Three Sisters Skyline

Alpine Running brings to Oregon some wonderful running adventures, and the 2025 Three Sisters Skyline will be here this Fall before we know it!

This event, featuring the Three Sisters Wilderness as the title suggests, offers trail runners a half marathon or a 50k.

The 50k is the first race on the docket for the day, starting at 8:00AM on September 20th. There will be no shortage of views on this journey and plenty of hills too. There is 3700 feet of climbing and 4700 feet of descent and 85% of the course will be on single track trails. Runners will have 3 fully stocked aid stations to visit. Read more about the 50k on the website here.

The Half Marathon starts at 9:30AM and is considered a “fast trail half.” The course is point to point, with a net downhill of 1500 feet and only 500 feet of gain. As with the 50k, 85% of the course is on single track trails. There is one aid station for this race at mile 7.1. More info about the half marathon can be found here.

All runners have a 15 minute shuttle ride to the start line, and there will be NO parking at the start. The shuttle for the half leaves at 8:50AM and at 7:20AM for the 50k. If you would like to bring warm ups to the start, they can be transported back in the RD’s truck. Race sponsors Sister’s Bakery and Backporch Coffee will be on hand before the race with some pre-race treats.

All runners will receive a finisher’s medal and the top 3 female/male/non-binary runners for each distance will receive some awesome sponsor swag. There will also be a post-race meal for all runners and volunteers.
