The Moore Mountain Trail Runs (MMR) consist of a 5k, half, and 30k, takes place in Mid-September, and is located in scenic Klamath Falls. With breathtaking views (such as Mt. Shasta and Upper Klamath lake), and challenging terrain (including 1,600 feet of elevation gain for the half marathon course), the MMR is not an event that will bore you.

Over 90% of the course consists of high-quality single track and includes sweeping views of Upper Klamath Lake and Mt. Shasta. Moore Mountain, if you haven’t run there, is a gem. The 5k is fun and technically challenging with minimal elevation gain. The half has over 1,700’ while the 30K has almost 2,700’. All 3 races take place in Moore Park and I can attest that these are fun – and underappreciated – trails.
The weather should be ideal (usually around 50 degrees at race start), but can still be a little unpredictable, so come ready for anything!

The Linkville Lopers, who put on the races, are all about fun and community. Every dollar from their races goes right back into local charities and places that promote outdoor recreation.
