Bend is a Craft Beer lovers paradise. Sporting 20 breweries, it has become a mecca of hoppy and malty goodness. Bend is also quite an awesome place for local festivals and events (part of the reason I love visiting). Combine those two awesome things with a run and you have a trifecta of awesome – the Annual Bend Beer Run, held in coordination with the Little Woody.

This race, which will take place on Saturday, August 30th, is a 5k race loop through Drake Park along the Deschutes River, with stops for craft beer along the way. You’ll start at The Commons and finish at the Deschutes Historical Museum. Race entry also comes with entry and drink tickets to the Little Woody for more beer tasting fun!
There will be prizes awarded to participants in costume, though dressing like a sloppy drunk is frowned upon (even if mildly accurate)!

This race is one that has become pretty big and is expected to fill up quickly. This event is also limited to those 21 and over please. Register for this one before it sells out!
