Get Wild & Weird at the 2025 Post Canyon Trail Half Marathon

Experience the beauty of the Columbia Gorge on August 16th at the 2025 Post Canyon Trail Half Marathon. This epic Hood River race, now celebrating its 11th birthday, is a steal at only $75 and every racer gets a finisher prize bag that contains swag valued at double that. In addition to that, you also have a chance to win some random bonus prizes ranging from $10 to $170 in value.

Hood River has a magical vibe and this city truly welcomes all runners of all paces. It’s also a beautiful location for a race, and you’ll feel right at home amount the trails and the friendly local volunteers there to cheer for you all along the course.

This race is cupless, so please remember to bring your favorite drinking vessel for refueling. It’s in fact required for you to bring a water bottle (24 oz minimum) or a hydration pack.

The race starts and finishes at BINNS Hill Staging Area and the course contains about 2,300 ft of elevation gain. There are several amazing mountain views on both the Oregon and Washington side and some mini waterfalls along some bridge creek crossings to look forward to. You’ll have 2 official aid stations and some bonus stations for entertainment and snack/refreshment purposes as well.

Be on the lookout for random folks along the course in costumes, and a puppy petting popsicle station. Yes, you read that right.

To make it even more fun, consider camping out the night before the race at at the newly refreshed Kingsley Res, which is only 15 minutes away from the race location.
