Purpose & Meaning
Organized by Ezra’s grandmother, the event honors Ezra’s courageous journey—diagnosed at age 3 with a high‑risk medulloblastoma, treated at Seattle Children’s, and heroically advocated for clinical research before his passing at age 5. Funds raised go toward pediatric brain cancer research, targeting relapsed or refractory CNS tumors.
This event isn’t just a race—it’s a community‑driven moment of remembrance, awareness, and action. Expect a warm, inclusive vibe: medals for fastest, oldest, and youngest racers; walkers and spectators encouraged; and heartfelt moments sprinkled throughout the day.
Hope to see you there—ready to run, walk, honor, and make a difference together!
