Every year, Janji has a collection of running pieces that showcase a different part of the world in the color options, designs, and artistic creation. This Spring’s new launch is Into the Surround featuring the Moroccan Sahara. This collection is their largest release yet — featuring running essentials and versatile kits that find inspiration in the renewed energy of spring.

Here’s a little more creative detail around the collection:
This season, we’re not just embracing the elements — we’re becoming part of them. As runners, we spend hours on our feet, exposed to whatever nature throws our way. Chilly mornings that give way to baking sun. Slick crag. Fierce winds. Endless switchbacks. Unexpected rain. Shoe-stealing mud. Shaded, misty forests. Sand dunes that stretch farther than your eyes can see. Our goal is to blend in. To weave effortlessly through landscapes. To be just one more grain of sand, reverberating against the rest. With the right gear, we can run anywhere.
As with all Janji collections, 2% of sales will go toward clean water initiatives around the world. Let’s dive into the pieces and designs a little bit.
Run All Day Tank
The Run All Day Tank is a simple, tried-and-true option in Janji’s arsenal that holds up amazingly well in warmer temperatures. It’s ultra-light, well-fitted, breathable, and comfortable to wear.
In this launch, the Dunescape colorway really elevates the design—it’s reminiscent of a vista of rolling desert dunes Janji calls this design “a love letter to the desert” and we love that. The tank fits true to size and is sure to see a lot of use this summer.
Trekker Snappy Shirt
I love a good button-up running shirt—they’re fun, unique, and often strike that perfect balance between function (lightweight, breathable) and style. The Trekker Snappy might not be a full-on running shirt (Janji calls it a “camp shirt,” which feels spot on – as it has button placement that wont get in the way of sternum straps), but you can run in it—and I have. It’s super breathable, stretchy, quick-drying, and it looks seriously cool.
The Reverse Paisley design is a collaboration with the Marrakech Henna Art Cafe and features hand-drawn artwork from four naqashas (henna artists). How cool is that?! I’ve worn this both on runs and out on warm spring evening dates. Major win.
AFO Middle Short and Middle Short Ultra 2-in-1
Both of these options are made similarly, with just some small differences that allow for personal preferences. The Janji AFO Middle Short is a lightweight, streamlined short with a built-in brief liner for breathability and minimal bulk. The AFO Middle Short 2-in-1 adds an integrated, stretchy compression liner for added coverage and support during longer efforts or chafe-prone runs.
Both pairs are lightweight, high-performance running short designed for comfort and functionality. They feature Janji’s ultra-light AFO stretch woven fabric for a barely-there feel, combined with a fast dry time, high breathability, and excellent sweat-wicking to keep you cool and dry on the move.
Some of these shorts (above) are also a part of the Paisley Marrakech Henna Art Cafe collection, as well as others (below) a part of the Rock Collector collection design – “inspired by nature, designed to run it”.
I don’t think we’ve ever been let down by a Janji product, so everything was pretty on target as expected. If you haven’t tried this brand, it’s worth checking out. You can also join the Janji Collective for a discount and to help in their mission to bring everyone clean water. You won’t regret it.
