While it’s great to have all the latest tech in running gear, nothing really beats the feeling of peeling off your sweaty clothes after a run and slipping into something comfortable and familiar. That’s why I’m into the Trackhouse Collection from Tracksmith. The more I wear them, the better they get.

Trackhouse Zip Sweatshirt
There’s something about sweatshirts and pants that has always stuck with me and given me a wave of comforting nostalgia. Back in college when I played baseball, I basically lived in two sweatshirts and two pairs of sweatpants. Those sweatshirts you got at the start of the season that somehow made you feel like you really belonged.
I’m pretty sure I wore them 90% of the time—whether it was early morning lifts, freezing cold practices, walking to class, or just crashing on the couch. They were broken in, reliable, and felt like home. That’s exactly the vibe the Trackhouse Zip Sweater taps into.
It’s built to feel like that old favorite—no drawstrings to flop around, just a clean, lived-in design that’s ready for whatever. The fabric is legit tough too. Tracksmith went all-in on sourcing something that feels hand-me-down worthy right out of the gate, and it shows.
It’s warm without being bulky, holds its shape, and has a subtle structure that makes it feel a little more put together than your average hoodie. The kangaroo pocket is a nice touch too—perfect for stashing your phone or keys when you’re heading out or just hanging around. I’ve been using it for pre-run warmups, post-run coffee stops, and plenty of lounge time in between.
Trackhouse Crew
I’ve also been reaching for the Trackhouse Crew a lot lately—especially during these past chilly Spring months—and it’s quickly become a staple in my pre- and post-run routine. While it looks like your classic crewneck, it’s definitely built with runners in mind. The cotton blend (80% cotton / 20% polyester for the body, with a bit of stretch in the ribbing: 97% cotton / 3% spandex) gives it a soft, slightly structured feel that keeps its shape while still moving comfortably with your body.
It’s not bulky like some heavier sweatshirts, which makes it perfect for layering or tossing on after a workout. I’ve worn it for warm-ups, cooldowns, and honestly, just hanging out. It’s got that worn-in feel without feeling sloppy—and with a tailored fit that’s more refined than your average sweatshirt. There’s enough room to move without it ever feeling too loose.
Bonus: it come in a range of colors—around 10 options—so there’s a good chance you’ll find one that fits your vibe.
