Bringing in the FUN with the 2025 Bend Beer Chase!!

**Registration increases on March 1st, so register ASAP!**

If you’ve thought about doing a running relay but maybe aren’t ready to fully commit to two whole days in a sweaty van, you should probably put the Bend Beer Chase on your list. This year, the event is on Saturday, May 3rd, and I know quite a few runners who do this event every year because it’s such a fun tradition.

The Bend Beer Chase is a 6-person one day relay that covers 55 miles from Bend to Redmond and back. Sure, the name says “Beer” in the race itself, but the BBC is really focused on local companies – so even if you aren’t into Bend’s breweries, cideries, and distilleries, there are a variety of other options along way for participants to sample.

Check out our Recap of the 2018 and 2014 events!

How does this relay work?  Gather 5 of your best running friends and plan to cover 4 to 8 miles twice over the course of race day. There are 12 legs in all, so everyone gets to share in the fun. The course will start at 10 Barrel Brewing in Bend before heading into Redmond. From there, the course will head back to finish in Downtown Bend are a riverside beer festival at Drake Park.

In addition to this, there is an optional Keg Leg, where you’ll have the chance to tack on an additional 1.5 mile run or walk around Bend to sample from 6 different local breweries. You can also opt out of the relay part of the event and just do the Keg Leg. After all, this is all about fun!!

You can check out the course map for the relay here and start planning your magical day with your Best Running Friends!!  Register today – you won’t regret this one!!
