The Newport Resolution Run on Sunday, January 5, 2025 not only offers a 5k, 10k, and half marathon, but also ties a Polar Bear Plunge into the event.
The half marathon starts first at 9am, followed by the shorter distances at 920 and 940a. You can view the courses here.
The 5K and 10K are fast and flat, while the half marathon is a more challenging run, with a mix of pavement, singletrack trails, and gravel roads. The half marathon will have 4 aid stations and the 10K will have 2.
The plunge into the Pacific Ocean at the end is optional, but as they say…when in Rome!
Stick around the area to support local businesses. We recommend a quick jaunt to Rogue Brewing or Newport Brewing Company after the race to enjoy a drink and post-race food.
