Previously called The Garlic Festival Run, the 2024 ORRC Pumpkin Ridge Run is an annual ORRC tradition that’s fun for the whole family. This event features a half marathon, a 10k, and a 5k and it takes place in North Plains on Saturday, August 3rd.
There’s a new start and finish line location this year at North Plains Elementary School. The 10k and Half Marathon courses will run a hilly but scenic counter-clockwise loop on Pumpkin Ridge Road, which is a similar course that was run several years ago.
The 5k will be an out and back course which follows a similar path so that everyone can finish in the same direction. There will be a 3 hour time limit for the event, as all finisher must be off the course by 10:00AM on race day.
ORRC members will receive $15 off registration. If you aren’t already a member, now would be great time to sign up so you can get discounts on all the ORRC events! Also all participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a cooling towel with the new Pumpkin Ridge Run logo on it!
