The Molalla Firecracker 5K is a great way to start your 4th of July! This event is run on the parade course in historic downtown Molalla, which will start shortly after the race begins. The bonus here is that there will be plenty of people lining the course to cheer you on, and afterwards you can enjoy the parade as well. If you are a rodeo fan, you’ve got to stay in town for the well-known Molalla Buckeroo.
The 5K will begin and end on the track at Heckard Field. With all the 4th of July festivities and parade road closures, be sure to arrive early to avoid delays. A course map can be found HERE.
This event supports the Molalla Aquatic Center, which is also where your packet pick-up will be. Don’t worry, it is right across from the high school track – where the race will start and finish.
All racers will receive a pair of custom Molalla Firecracker 5K socks! Socks, a course surrounded by cheering crowds, a parade, and a rodeo . . . This is much more than just a 5K. It could turn into a full day of Independence Day activities. Happy 4th!
