Hood to Coast is legendary when it comes to running relays. They started with the classic Mt. Hood to Seaside adventure and have grown into an international organization with several 1-day relay adventures in the Pacific Northwest. Their next race is HTC Seabrook Relay in Washington and there are still spots to bring your team.
Like most HTC events Seabrook Relay has walking and running options; walkers complete 9 portions of the course while runners complete 12. The number of participants can vary by team with a critical part being staying in order as a team with consistent relay handoff between participants at the exchanges. When participants are not on the course, they are rolling in the van toward the next exchange to cheer on their teammate.
The whole team can join in as the Leg 12 racer heads across the finish line. And then you can all join in for the after-party and celebrating all those miles in just one day.
