Help out Pacific University College of Optometry and School of Audiology by running the 18th Annual Forest Grove Lions Club Run & Walk for Sight on September 8th. 100% of the funds raised by this 5k and 10k race will go back to the community to help fund scholarships and equipment for Pacific University’s AMIGOS program.
This race, which is held at Pacific University in Forest Grove, is a great family-friendly race that all levels and abilities are encouraged to job! In addition to a 5k and a 10k race, there’s a kid’s Tot Trot, so get your kids out there to participate too!
The race is only $35 for either the 5k or 10k option (add $5 if you wait until the day of the race to register) and the Tot Trot is only $5. This is a great value, as you’ll get a t-shirt (only guaranteed through August 29th) as well as some refreshments and a prize drawing entry. The 5k and 10k events will also be chip-timed.
