Come out to Hermiston for a family-friendly run/walk that supports the American Youth Soccer Organization. The proceeds will help pay for scholarships and equipment for children in need. The Steps-to Success 5k/10k Run/Walk will also have a Children’s 1 Mile option, so there’s a distance for everyone.
This year’s event will be held on April 21st, 2018 at Riverfront Park in Hermiston. The 5k and 10k Runs will start at 8:00AM and the walkers and children doing the 1 Mile option will begin at 8:30AM. The cost of all distances is just $10 if you opt out of the shirt or $20 if you want one. All shirts are adult sizes (Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL, 3XL, and 4XL.)
After the race, everyone will receive snacks and a sack lunch. Everyone will also get a ribbon for participating and there will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place for adult men and women. Children runners will also get prizes for 1st and 2nd place and walkers will get prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
