In the world of adventure race teams and organizers, few stack up to the group at Bend Racing. Known for their strength as racers, this amazing set of athletes and professionals have been putting on their own adventure races for a few years now. Here in sunny Central Oregon, the Spring Sting race has collected some serious teams from across the Pacific Northwest to compete. This year, the venue has changed to Brasada Ranch, and with it comes the ability to have racers finish in a hot tub!

Racers on the Crooked River – 2017
If you’re still with me, let me clue you in on what an adventure race is. Teams of 1, 2, 3 or 4 people compete to finish, participating in a mountain biking section, a trekking/trail running section, rope challenges and water challenges (paddling equipment provided). This is not an obstacle course like a Survivor race, but is instead a team event where each team must compete together and finish together in order to count. In the case of the Brasada Brawl, there will be 2 categories; Fun or Pro. The Fun category will take teams anywhere between 2-4 hours to complete. The Pro category will take teams 4-6 hours to complete. If you’re looking for a real adventure, this is it!
When: Saturday, April 21st from 10am – 4pm
Cost: $60 – $340 depending on course and team size.
