Small Race Preview: 2017 Good Samaritan Challenge (Corvallis)

There are lots of races to choose from this summer, but if you really want to make a difference in someone’s life, The Good Samaritan Challenge on August 12th  in Corvallis would be a good place to start. The purpose of this race is to raise money for the rehab supplies for people who have been injured by some unforeseen accident and are in the most need of assistance.

This year, the 5k event will have chip timing as well as a barbeque. For the low cost of $20 to register for this race, you will not only be helping the community but will also receive a free post-race brunch/BBQ to enjoy! There is also a 1k Fun Run option which is free.

The course will begin at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and there will be a new trail to run on this year thanks to donations from last year.  Come for the run and stay for the party!
