Run in Umatilla, the Columbia River Power 10k and 5k is a drive for most Run Oregon readers, but you can easily make a weekend out of it and enjoy the less-rainy side of the state before winter sets in. In addition to the two running distances, there is a Family Fun Walk. The races all start and finish at the McNary Wildlife Natural Area and offers amazing views of the Columbia River. Best of all, registration (online here) is only $25 for any of the events.
