On May 7th, The Miles for Mothers Races will be hosting their 3rd annual event at the American Legion Sports complex in Redmond. Fun, competitive, and professionally timed, this event is also honoring mothers. The goal is to heighten awareness of the many difficult issues mothers face, to increase knowledge of family health resources available and to promote healthy lifestyles in Central Oregon. In honor of Mother’s Day, funds raised will be specifically designated to subsidize the cost of counseling for mothers in need. Proceeds go to: WaterCup Counseling ‘s Special Fund for Mothers in Crisis.
The course for the 5K and 10K will be on the Dry Canyon Trail. Not to leave the little ones out of the fun, the kids run will also touch the trail a bit after they circle the sports complex.
Awards will be given for the fastest overall male and female finisher and the top three male and female finishers in each age category. In addition to these awards, something special will be given to every mother who crosses the finish line and ribbons for the participants in the 1K kids fun run.

When: Saturday, May 7th
8:30-10:30 am: Silent auction
8:30-10:30 am: Silent auction
9:00 am: 5K and 10K start time
10:00 am: Kids 1K start time
Where: American Legion Park in Redmond, OR
Registration: $10- Kids Run (includes event shirt). $15 for registration on the day of race.
$25- 5K/10K Race (includes event shirt). $30 for registration on day of race. To garuntee shirt sizes, please register by April 27th.

Packet Pickup: Friday May 6th at WaterCup Counseling Services from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and from 7:30-8:30 am on race day at American Legion Park.
