On April 17th, celebrate the arrival of Spring with a flat, fast, and scenic run/walk along the Willamette River in Eugene. The 2016 Richard Wigney Memorial Run For Autism is Presented by and supporting the Bridgeway House. This is an opportunity to support a great local organization which provides support and services for children with autism and related disabilities while educating and supporting their families. Support includes but not limited to: ABA therapies, social skills groups, education, summer camps, and much more.
Along with a course description of scenic, flat, and fast, participants will cross the Willamette River on the Autzen and DeFazio bridges. Join in on the 5K run/walk or an 8K run along the bike paths of Alton Baker Park. The start and finish will be located near the park shelter. Course maps are available on USA Track and Field websites:
