If you like to play dirty, then check out The Dirty Dash in Albany. This mud run combines lots of mud and a variety of obstacles sure to bring out your inner swine!
The Dirty Dash is a 5K with obstacles from blow-up slides to cargo nets to walls and a whole lot of mud. Both runners and walkers are welcome to join in on the filthy fun. Your entry fee includes plenty of mud, a Dirty Dash t-shirt, a pig-face bottle opener, and for those 21 and over – entry to the beer chug.
Not sure if you’re up for obstacles? This is a great option for the timid, as racers may choose to skip an obstacle if needed. However, as an obstacle course race lover, I’d encourage you to at least try every obstacle. The sense of accomplishment you will feel after doing something a little bit scary or intimidating is so worth it! So grab some friends, pull out an older pair of running shoes, and get ready for a mud-filled adventure.
