Race Preview: 2015 Run 4 Freedom 5k, 1 mile, and Kids Fun Run

2015 Run 4 Freedom

There is just nothing better on the 4th of July than a small town celebration, and the Central Point Oregon puts on one of the best!  Good ol’ fashion fun that starts off with a BANG at the Run 4 Freedom Race!  You will thoroughly enjoy the 1 mile or 5k routes that start right in the heart of town and run out and back on scenic roads in this beautiful rural Southern Oregon town.  After you run your race, get the kiddos involved in 4 different distance races for kids, based on their ages.  All participants receive ribbons at the finish line.

After you’ve conquered the course and earned your PR, continue celebrating with an all American downtown parade proudly showing off the talents of Central Point citizens from politicians to tractors, cars, flags, bands and floats of local organizations. Following the parade, head to Robert Pfaff Park to enjoy the many vendors, booths, entertainment and great food. Bands entertain throughout the afternoon. The evening ends with Red, White and Boom at the Jackson County Expo, hosted by the Medford Chamber of Commerce.
