This month REI Run Series Portland 5K/10K will take place on Saturday, June 20, at Champoeg State Park in St Paul, OR. There will be a 10k starting at 9am and the 5k at 9:30. The run is self-supported and untimed, but for the $15 registration fee, participants will receive a fun group for a trail run, REI branded gear, and post-race refreshments.
Participants need to register for the run in advance; there is no registration on event day. You can register online here. The field for this event is limited to 75 participants.
If you are unsure if you are ready to tackle a 5k or 10k, consider joining the REI Run Club, which meets every Monday at the downtown Portland store. The run club is free, but you are requested to register ahead of time.
