The 38th Annual Troutdale Trot is set for Saturday, May 9th. This under-the-radar local race boasts one of the regions most scenic and unique courses, a 6.7 mile loop tour of the city of Troutdale and the lower Sandy River.
The course begins with a climb from Glenn Otto Park through historic Troutdale, then flattens out through town, before dropping quickly down toward the Sandy River. After crossing the river, the course winds downstream along the tree-shaded Sandy River Highway for a few miles, before crossing the river a second time and finishing back at the park.
In addition to the classic 6.7-mile race, there is also a Magical Mile race in Glenn Otto Park, and a free Turtle Trot for kids 5 and under.
