So, what does your 2015 race calendar look like? Finding race fees squeezing your wallet? Want to run in a new area? Want to participate in a race series for 2015?

What about your New Year’s Resolutions (you know you made some)? And it probably had something to do with running or staying healthy. And perhaps it was someone you know who was going to commit to healthier choices in 2015. Whatever the case, please take a second to check-out a new race series that is coming to race calendars everywhere in 2015; the Run Molalla Series presented by the Molalla Running Club.

The great things that this series does (besides saving you money), is allowing you to commit to healthy choices and/or racing  throughout out the year.

The series includes three events: one in April, one in Summer and one in Fall. The first race on the schedule is the Goat Mountain Gallop half marathon, occurring on April 11, 2015. Important to note, the Goat Mountain Gallop half marathon is one of the ‘oldest’ half marathons in Oregon, turning 32 in 2015. I say ‘oldest’ as it is younger than I am, and I am not old … but let’s just say it has been around for a while and, like a fine wine, has aged to perfection.

Next in the series is the Freedom 5k on the Fourth of July, 2015. The course runs the parade route just prior to the Fourth of July parade, so you’ll be running in front of thousands of spectators. Also, you’ll get complimentary rodeo tickets to the 1:30 p.m. event on the 4th, and a tech shirt. Seems exceptionally entertaining to me all the way around!

Last, the Molalla River Trail Race will take place on October 17, 2015.There will be a 5k, 10k and half marathon option for this 100% trail race on the Molalla River Trail system.

Salivating at the mouth already? I am! This race series looks incredible! For $89 you can secure your bib to run all three events; or $99 if you would like to secure your bib for all three events with the half marathon distance for the Molalla River Trail Race. The first 100 to register will receive a nice Run Molalla Series trucker hat, and those finishing all three events will receive a commemorative Run Molalla Series medal (yay for bling!).

Great price; great races; great bling. Register now!
